Working from my garden studio in the Cambridgeshire fens I paint the wetlands of Sutton Gault,  the dark, moody fenland fields and massive skies. My other inspiration is Northumberland, especially Holy Island and also the East Anglian coastline.

Moments in time, seen while out walking are gathered together in sketchbooks until their eventual translation into paint.

I have always been creative, stitching from a young age which lead to a City & Guilds in Creative Embroidery. After several years working with fabrics and thread, I studied with the Open College of the Arts on their Painting course and now painting has become my main focus.
