I work from my garden studio in the Cambridgeshire fens painting the wetlands of Sutton Gault,  the dark, moody fenland fields and massive skies. My other inspiration is Northumberland, especially Lindisfarne Island and also the coastline of East Anglia.  At the moment I am completely absorbed by the medium of Gouache but that's not to say the oils may never come out again.

I have always been creative, stitching from a young age which eventually lead me to a City & Guilds in Creative Embroidery. After several years working with fabrics and thread, I studied with the Open College of the Arts on their Painting course and now painting has become my main focus. Lately, yarn has resurfaced into my life in the form of knitting and then embroidering into this soft, open surface. Creativity is ever-changing.
